PEC-G
Izabela Hendrix participates in the PEC-G
The program of Undergraduate Students (PEC-G) offers Higher Education opportunities for citizens of developing countries with which Brazil maintains educational and cultural agreements. Developed by the ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education, in partnership with public and private universities PEC-G selects foreigners, from 18 to 25 years old, with complete High School, to study in Brazil.
The selected foreign student studies free of charge. On the other hand, he/she must meet certain criteria. Among them: prove that he/she is able to cover her/his expenses in Brazil, having certificate of High School completion or equivalent and proficiency in Portuguese for students from Nations outside of the Portuguese Language Countries Community (CPLP).
People inserted in socioeconomic development programs agreed between Brazil and their countries of origin are more likely to be selected. The agreements testify the student's commitment to return home and contribute to the area in which he/she graduated.
